ABOUT ANNOUNCEMENT AUDIO SYSTEMS

The Announcement audio speaker systems are the product of well respected Southwest sound engineer and designer Steve Norris who has in excess of thirty years experience touring and working in the pro audio industry.

The original design was conceived for Telex Shuttle sound in the mid 90's as Steve was main South west dealer for EV products at the time, the concept was for a dual purpose FOH / Stage Monitor speaker that could be driven full range or used crossed over with subs.
Basically a product they could load with EV drivers and market as a response to the Nexo PS range that had just come out.

Shuttle sound marketed this as the XV 400 with a band pass 18 sub, the B52 to compliment the system. They were manufactured and sold quite successfully under a licensing deal for a couple years.

We were so happy with the performance of these systems that we replaced all our EV Deltamax hire stock with and are still manufacturing on a small scale the latest refined updated versions of these speakers, now loaded with state of the art B&C and RCF Ndym magnet components.

These systems Have proven themselves over thousands of shows with name artistes in theatres, concert halls and prestigious venues across the whole of the Uk
